Departure from USA to Milan by scheduled airline service. 

 

DAY 2 - MILAN / LAKE COMO

 

Upon arrival at Milan airport, you will be met and transferred by private car to your hotel in Lake Como. The remainder of the day and evening are at your leisure to rest or begin exploring the area on your own. Overnight at your hotel.

 

DAY 3 - LAKE COMO 

 

After breakfast at the hotel, the day is free for you to spend as you please. We suggest a tour by ferry of the lovely Lake Como and its spectacular surroundings. The ferry travels from Como to Tremezzo, where you can visit the magnificent gardens at the Villa Carlotta, then continues on to the picturesque town of Bellagio. Take your time, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In the afternoon, return to Como by ferry. 

 

DAY 4 - STRESA

 

After breakfast at the hotel, board your train for the lakeside town of Stresa. After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the evening is at your leisure. 

 

DAY 5 - STRESA

 

Your day is free to do as you like. We suggest you board a ferry for a tour to Lake Maggiore and a visit to the three islands located on the lake: Bella, Madre and Pescatori. Wander the gardens and palace on Isola Bella or the stroll though the villa and its gardens on Isola Madre. Return to Stresa by boat in the afternoon. The evening is at your leisure. 

 

DAY 6 - STRESA / LUGANO

 

After breakfast at the hotel, board your train for Lugano, situated just across the border in Switzerland between Lake Maggiore and Lake Como. Upon arrival, check into your hotel, and the remainder of the day and evening are at your leisure to explore on your own. We suggest a stroll along the elegant lakeside promenade and the historical city center.

 

DAY 7 - LUGANO

 

Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll join a morning walking tour of the artistic and historical center of Lugano, the "Monte Carlo of Switzerland." In the afternoon we suggest you enjoy a short cruise on Lake Lugano and explore the colorful old fishing village of Gandria or the architecturally rich town of Morcote.

 

DAY 8 - LUGANO

 

This morning you will transfer on your own to either the Lugano Airport or the Milan airport.
