Begin the afternoon with a brief excursion to Fiesole, an picturesque Etruscan town overlooking Florence and the Arno River. Continue to the historic city center and the Franciscan church of Santa Croce (exterior only). Next is the Piazza Signoria for a glimpse of the Palazzo Vecchio (exterior only) before arriving at the Uffizi Gallery* home of famous works of art by Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leanardo da Vinci and many other artists.
