Enjoy a full day bike ride through the hills and valleys of the beautiful Tuscany countryside. You will be picked up at your hotel in Florence and transferred by van to Meleta, where after a guided tour of the medieval castle, you will enjoy a tasting of a Chianti Classico at the winery. Then bike the Abbey of Badia a Coltibuono, one of the most beautiful sites in Chianti passing through the village of Gaiole with a walk in the piazza. Free time for lunch at a wonderful restaurant overlooking the valley. Afterwards a long winding, rewarding downhill road will take you back to Gaiole. 20 miles covered, intermediate skill level.
