Itinerary

DAY 1 – FLORENCE

Arrive in Florence and transfer on your own to your hotel in the historical center of the city. This afternoon join a city tour including the Church of Santa Croce with the tombs of Macchiavelli, Michelangelo, Galileo and Rossini. Continue to the Uffizi Gallery to see the paintings of Botticelli, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Giotto. Evening is at leisure.

DAY 2 – FLORENCE/ PISA

The morning is at your leisure in Florence to shop, explore or take an optional city tour. In the afternoon join a guided bus tour to Pisa to see the famous Leaning Tower, the Duomo and the Baptistery. Return to Florence and the evening is at your leisure.

DAY 3 – FLORENCE / SIENA AND SAN GIMIGNANO

This morning join a guided bus excursion to the medieval towns of Siena and San Gimignano. You’ll travel through some of Tuscany’s most beautiful countryside including the Chianti wines region. Return to Florence at approximately 6PM. The rest of the night is free (November 16-March 15 tour operates Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays only).

DAY 4 – FLORENCE /ROME

Following breakfast you are on your own to enjoy the rest of your vacation in Italy.
